Feel free to join us for both or one session as your schedule allows.
Guided tour: A guide will tour your group through our gallery spaces to view our current
exhibitions, artist studios, and teaching studios. Learn more about Reading’s industrial past and
our building’s history as the first factory in the United States to manufacture optical lenses.
Glassblowing Demonstration
Watch glassblowers in action, in our state-of-the-art hot shop. Experienced glassblowers will make a
piece of glass art, while explaining the process. GoggleWorks' hot glass studio can accommodate up to
80 guests in our stadium style seating. Demonstrations include a Q&A session with the glass artist when
the piece is completed.
Demonstration lasts approximately 1 hour

To ensure safety in classrooms, dress codes are required in the following studios:
• Glassblowing Studio: Tie back long hair, wear a long sleeve shirt (non-synthetic), and closed-toe shoes
